SAHEL FELLOWS CIRCLEI hope this message finds you well, wherever you are reading it from. Aid for Sahel Child Foundation started this work because we saw how much talent exists across Borno State, and how few structured ways there were to connect that talent to real opportunity. The Sahel Fellows Circle grew directly out of that gap.
Today, mentors, mentees and volunteers work together across six departments — from tutoring and health outreach to skills training and community care. None of this is paid work. It exists because people chose to give their time, their knowledge and their presence to their own community, often in places still recovering from years of conflict.
I am proud of what has been built so far, and I want to be honest that we are still early. Many of the numbers on this page will look small for now, because we are growing carefully rather than quickly. If you are a mentor, mentee, volunteer, or simply someone who believes in this work, thank you for reading this far. There is a place here for you.
